Apposite Capital makes a trio of promotions

Apposite Capital has promoted James Harper to partner and both Lauren Edison and Christian Schenk to investment director roles.

Harper, who joined Apposite in 2019, is the company’s chief financial officer. Edison has been with Apposite since 2018 and also serves on the boards of 1MED, CrestOptics, and Mirada Medical, while Schenk joined in 2020 and is a board member of Emblation, Summit Medical, and Kelso Pharma.

‘We are delighted that James Harper, Apposite’s CFO, is being promoted to partner. This follows James’ significant contribution to Apposite’s growth and development and his valued input across the full spectrum of Apposite’s activities; not least in terms of fundraising and limited partner relations, but also in key strategic areas such as impact, as well as finance and internal operations,’ said Sam Gray, managing partner at Apposite Capital.
