Gurpreet Dehal steps down as chair of Housing 21

Gurpreet Dehal has decided to step down from his position as chair of Housing 21, just three months after being appointed.

Dehal, who plans to focus on his other professional commitments, was appointed as chair on 2 February. He had replaced Stephen Hughes, who resigned as chair in October after almost ten years in the role.

Elaine Elkington, an existing member of the Housing 21 board and previously chair of its extra care committee, has been appointed interim board chair.
