Unity Trust Bank has promoted Paul Kelly from relationship manager to healthcare lead as part of its backing to the social and primary care sectors.
This new role will see the bank focus on supporting of a range of organisations delivering frontline services across the UK, including care homes, pharmacies, dentists and specialist care.
Kelly, who has over 25 years’ banking experience, said: ‘Every community needs access to good quality healthcare services – be that a child receiving dental treatment; an adult requiring specialist support or a vulnerable older person living in a care home. Unity has actively supported the social and specialist care sector for over decade, particularly during difficult times such as the Covid pandemic.
‘Since joining Unity six years ago as a relationship manager, I have provided high value lending facilities to healthcare organisations to help them deliver positive social impact in their communities. I’m delighted to now lead our healthcare strategy to look at more ways that Unity can serve the sector,’ he said.
