Positive CareTech push shares up slightly

Revenues at the publicly owned specialist care provider CareTech Holdings increased by 26% to £52.2m in the six months ending 31 March 2011, according to results published last month. However, while the news appears to have ended a six month slide for share prices, the company has a long way to go if it hopes to regain the market value it held as recently as Christmas 2010.
