The sk:n group acquires Destination Skin

sk:n plans to continue growth strategy under ownership of TriSpan

The sk:n group has taken the first steps in its growth strategy since its acquisition by TriSpan in February after acquiring aesthetic skincare provider Destination Skin for an undisclosed sum

Destination Skin operates 16 clinics, mainly in London and the South of England but also in Cardiff, Birmingham and Manchester. It provides a range of anti-ageing and aesthetic skin  treatments alongside laser hair removal.

The sk:n group said the acquisition marked a transformative step in its evolution and that, with TriSpan’s support, it plans to open new clinics under both the sk:n and Destination Skin brands in the coming months.

Darren Grassby, CEO at sk:n, said: ‘We’ve admired the Destination Skin brand for a long time. It has a real vibrancy and emotional appeal, and was the natural first step for us as we look to develop and grow our group under our supportive new owners. Together, we will be operationally and commercially stronger to innovate and shape the future of the aesthetic skincare market in the UK.

‘This is the start of what will be an exciting year for the sk:n group. We have great confidence in the future of the industry and we look forward to giving our clients an enhanced experience in and out of clinic.’

The group now operates 68 clinics and has total revenues of approximately £40m.
