AXA Health appoints SME distribution director

AXA Health has appointed Jordan Ayrey as SME distribution director.

Ayrey has more than ten years of experience in distribution and is currently head of consumer intermediary at Bupa. He has previously held a number of roles at the insurer, where he was instrumental in delivering significant transformation and new business growth, as well as developing strong relationships with key intermediaries within the Individual and SME segments.

In his new position, Ayrey will lead AXA Health’s SME distribution team, working closely with intermediary and distribution partners to expand the company’s SME business. He will officially join AXA Health in November.

‘I’m excited to be taking up this new role and leading the SME distribution team at AXA Health,’ Ayrey said. ‘I’m looking forward to driving growth and delivering great service for our SME customers, in collaboration with our valued partners.’

Richard Glassborow, director of distribution & marketing at AXA Health, said: ‘I’m pleased Jordan is joining us as SME distribution director. He has a great reputation within the broker market which, alongside his experience and knowledge, I believe will help us deliver a step-change in performance in order to achieve our ambitious growth plans.’
