Capsticks appoints two new partners

Law firm Capsticks has announced the appointment of two new partners in Simon Brian and Adam Hartrick. In addition, partner Lisa Geary has been promoted to head of its Leeds office from 1 September.

Geary joined Capsticks’ real estate department in 2011 and is a member of its health and primary care teams, providing advice and representation to the NHS, private providers and GPs.

Brian was previously head of employment at Taylor & Emmet LLP and has more than 15 years’ experience advising on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues.

Hartrick joins from Hempsons and has more than 20 years’ experience in clinical law. He has particular expertise in mental health, capacity and consent and represents clients in the Court of Protection and the High Court in relation to medical treatment and welfare issues, concerning adults and children.

‘We are delighted to welcome Adam and Simon to the partnership and we look forward to working with them both,’ said Rachael Heenan, senior partner at Capsticks. ‘Their expertise compliment the firm well and will benefit all our clients.’

‘Lisa has been a key member of the partnership from the earliest days of Capsticks Leeds and cares deeply about the region, the office and everyone that works with us,’ Heenan added.
