Priory Group owner and pan-European mental health and rehabilitation provider Median Group has appointed Dr Christian Göseke as group CFO.
Göseke (pictured) joins the group management team with responsibility for finance and controlling, legal and compliance, IT, M&A and ESG. He succeeds Matthias Oehmicke.
He was most recently group CFO at Arriva, where he was involved in the company’s sale from Deutsche Bahn AG to a private equity firm. Prior to this, he served as group CFO at Swissport International AG, where he led financing and refinancing activities totalling €1.4bn.
His previous roles also include managing director at Gate Gourmet, part of Gate Group, and a senior leadership position at Wincanton during the sale of its overseas business to Rhenus AG. He began his career at McKinsey & Company.
Median Group operates 400 facilities in the UK, Germany and Spain.
