Senior healthcare appointment boosts EY’s London office

Sylvester Oppong has joined the London office of EY as head of healthcare services corporate finance and M&A, where he will lead on transactions across the sector both in the UK and internationally.

Previously with Smith Square Partners, where he held various roles including head of healthcare M&A, Oppong has a wealth of experience in corporate finance. He started his career as an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs International before moving to Deloitte and becoming an associate director at Hawkpoint.

In his new role, Oppong will work with EY life sciences and healthcare partner, corporate finance, David Scourfield and the healthcare M&A team to develop and grow the company’s healthcare services practice.
