Ascenti partners with Healix Health Services

Physiotherapy provider Ascenti has partnered with private healthcare claims administrators Healix Health Services

Under the partnership, Healix’s service-users will gain access to Ascenti’s network of physiotherapists and digital musculoskeletal (MSK) services, including virtual physiotherapy consultations over the phone and rehabilitation support through Ascenti’s patient app, PhysioNow, first launched in July.

Ascenti will treat patients referred for physiotherapy by Healix as part of the company’s portfolio of corporate healthcare trusts.

Stephanie Dobrikova, chief executive officer of Ascenti, said: ‘With our extensive expertise providing MSK outsourcing solutions to the insurance and healthcare sectors, and our industry leading technology, we are bringing Healix Health Services customers a modern digitally-enabled physiotherapy service that will enhance their experience overall.’

Mike Barnes, operations director at Healix Health Services, said: ‘The new relationship with Ascenti is an exciting step for Healix Health Services in how we manage MSK claims for our clients, building upon our existing clinically led pathway.

‘We have been impressed by Ascenti’s use of technology to support and enhance the customer journey and their commitment to patient treatment and care.’

This is Ascenti’s most recent partnership and will see its physiotherapy services offer expand, following its separate collaborations with Health insurer VitalityHealth and health club operator The Bannatyne Group last year.
