Circle offers to sponsor 500 visas for Ukrainian refugees

Circle Health Group has announced it will seek to sponsor up to 500 visas for Ukrainian refugees and their families, creating jobs across its 54-strong UK hospital portfolio.

As well as clinical roles, Circle sites across the country will offer administrative, engineering, logistics and project management positions.

Circle is one of the largest healthcare employers outside of the NHS with around 10,000 staff. It has extensive experience of recruiting and integrating staff from overseas and said hundreds of clinicians had already joined the company from around the world.

It plans to partner with government and third sector organisations to remove bureaucratic barriers and ‘move rapidly to offer a lifeline to individuals and families in need’.

CEO Paolo Pieri said: ‘As one of the UK’s big employers, we want to offer jobs and a fresh start to Ukrainian refugees forced to flee from their homeland. We are eager to help in some small way and stand with the Ukrainian people in this moment of unspeakable suffering.’
