Kaia Health partners with pharma company

Digital therapeutics provider Kaia Health has partnered with Italian pharmaceutical company Chiesi Group to offer its Kaia Health Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) rehabilitation app in Europe.

Under the partnership, Kaia Health COPD digital therapeutic will be highly focused on key markets in Europe, where its mobile app-based software platform can be delivered by  healthcare professionals.

The app delivers customised daily training sessions, along with mindfulness and stress relief exercises, augmented with human coaching support and individualised therapy.

Based in Italy, the Chiesi Group is a pharmaceutical company that operates in 29 countries. The group researches, develops and markets drugs for respiratory treatment, special care medicine and rare diseases. Chiesi’s research and development centre is based in Italy, and forms part of four other important R&D groups in France, the USA, the UK and Sweden.
