Memory and Brain Clinic London has introduced a consultant-led, same-day cognitive diagnosis pathway at 10 Harley Street providing a full diagnostic conclusion and care plan.
The service combines neurocognitive testing, neuroradiology-reported MRI scans using 3 Tesla machines and targeted blood testing. Results are interpreted in real time by a consultant geriatrician specialising in cognitive disorders.
Building on the rapid access model, the clinic is also offering the latest Alzheimer’s blood tests, including p-tau and amyloid biomarkers, alongside functional brain imaging such as amyloid PET and FDG PET. These tools are incorporated into a clinician-led pathway designed to ensure advanced diagnostics are used only when results are likely to inform treatment decisions and improve patient outcomes.
According to the clinic, the model represents a shift away from multi-week, fragmented testing towards fast, integrated, consultant-led diagnosis and care.
