Nuffield Health has signed a partnership with Shepherds Friendly to provide GP services, wellbeing support and discounted gym membership for its income protection members.
As part of the friendly society’s enhanced benefits package, income protection plan holders will have access to Nuffield Health virtual GP powered by Doctor Care Anywhere and Nuffield Health’s emotional wellbeing platform.
In addition, they will be eligible for discounted gym membership at any of Nuffield’s 114 fitness and wellbeing centres.
Nuffield Health strategic business development director Claire McCusker said: ‘We’re delighted to be collaborating with Shepherds Friendly to offer our connected health services to their members. Our purpose is to build a healthier nation and our partnership with Shepherds Friendly will enable us to reach more people and support them to improve their health and wellbeing.’
Ann-Marie O’Dea, CEO at Shepherds Friendly, said the additional benefits were designed to help its members maintain their physical and mental health and enable them to access medical support more quickly.
