OCL Vision expands into East Sussex

Harley Street-based eye care provider OCL Vision has expanded into East Sussex through a partnership with Eastbourne-based consultant ophthalmic surgeon Shahram Kashani.

The partnership will see OCL Vision support Kashani’s clinic in Eastbourne. Under the arrangement, he will remain responsible for all patient care, but will benefit from OCL’s state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, additional specialist expertise and treatment options.

The partnership will allow the clinic to expand services including cataract surgery, vision correction, glaucoma care and treatment for complex eye conditions.

‘East Sussex has always been at the heart of what we do. Our aim has always been to provide high-quality, personalised care for our community, and this partnership helps us build on that,’ said Kashani (pictured).

‘Patients will continue to see the same faces in the same clinic they are used to, but they will also benefit from a wider range of treatments and specialist support, all locally.’

The Eastbourne clinic will gradually transition to the OCL Vision name in the coming months.

The expansion follows a multi-million pound investment in OCL Vision by growth capital investor BGF last year.
