Ramsay and Vitality extend partnership agreement

Ramsay Health Care UK has signed a new long-term partnership agreement with VitalityHealth.

The agreement extends Ramsay’s existing relationship with the UK’s third largest insurer, covering a range of services, including partnership networks for hip, knee, spinal and ophthalmic conditions. Both organisations said the partnership will continue to focus on clinical quality, patient experience and digital development.

Ramsay Health Care UK CEO Nick Costa (picturted) said: ‘By continuing to expand our partnership networks in key specialisms such as orthopaedics, spinal care and ophthalmology, and by focusing on innovation and digital excellence, we are well placed to support Vitality members throughout their healthcare journey and deliver care that genuinely makes a difference.’

VitalityHealth CEO Arun Thiyagarajan said: ‘We are pleased to partner with Ramsay Health Care UK to further strengthen the breadth and quality of specialised clinical services available to our health insurance members.

‘At Vitality, our focus is to support people in living healthier lives. Vitality helps members to make positive lifestyle choices and provides clinical support that genuinely empowers and supports them to improve their health at every stage of their healthcare journey. Extending our partnership network with Ramsay UK is a natural next step, ensuring our members have access to high quality care when they need it, and enabling us to continue delivering on our core purpose to enhance and protect their lives.’
