Welbeck Health Partners signs RPO deal with Compass Associates

Welbeck Health Partners (WHP) has entered into an exclusive recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) agreement with Compass Associates to support the opening of two new facilities in Oxford and Cambridge by 2026.

The partnership, effective from the start of August, forms part of WHP’s expansion strategy. Under the deal, Compass will be responsible for all permanent recruitment processes. The Oxford centre is scheduled to open next year, followed by a Cambridge site in 2026.

The new centres will aim to replicate the model of consultant-led, multidisciplinary care at WHP’s flagship London facility, which currently hosts more than 350 consultants across 18 specialties and nine floors.

Rachel Boxall, centre director at Welbeck Oxford, said: ‘This centre will revolutionise the quality of private healthcare in the UK outside of London. It’s critical we collaborate with the region’s leading clinicians and skilled healthcare operators so they can shape our treatment pathways and provide the best patient care experiences. Once open, the centre will prioritise efficiency and quality from the point of a patient booking an appointment to being discharged from their clinician’s care.’

Natasha King, centre director at Welbeck Cambridge, said: ‘Cambridge has an exceptional healthcare community, and we’re looking forward to working with the region’s top clinical and operational professionals to shape a service that delivers best-in-class care from the first contact to discharge. Recruiting the right leadership team is an essential first step, and we’re delighted to be working with Compass Associates to bring this vision to life.’

Stuart Cousins, director at Compass Associates, added: ‘Having supported Welbeck Health Partners across the last six years, we are delighted to be working closely with the company on such a mission-critical recruitment project. The knowledge of the healthcare recruitment team, and our track record of delivering similar staffing projects for healthcare clients on clinical and acute campaigns throughout our history puts us in a strong position to be able to support Welbeck deliver their growth strategy through the opening of both Welbeck Oxford, and Welbeck Cambridge in 2026.’
