IMED Hospital Valencia opens soon

Spanish group IMED Hospitales that seeks to attract locals and medical tourists is opening a new hospital in Valencia.

Spanish group IMED Hospitales was set up to develop a network of private hospitals offering high quality, customised health care with cutting edge facilities and equipment, to locals and international patients.

The group began as Hospital de Levante, based in Benidorm and is now known as Hospital IMED Levante. As a result of the experience and success of the last few years, IMED Hospitales decided to extend this model to other geographical areas – Teulada, Elche, Torrevieja, Valencia and Murcia in the first phase.

IMED Hospitales has 4 hospitals: IMED Levante, IMED Teulada, IMED Elche and IMED Torrevieja, and within two years another two will be operational: IMED Valencia and IMED Murcia.

In January 2017 IMED Hospital Valencia will open and care for 400,000 national and international patients a year. It is situated at the intersection of the V-35 and the Ronda Norte, and provides services for the Burjassot district and the northwest of Valencia.
