Insurance covers treatment abroad

MAXIS GBN has said it is working with health insurance consultancy Further to provide multinational clients insurance for accessible medical treatment outside of their home countries.

Further offers its Critical Advantage solution to multinational clients, which gives them the ability to offer their employees treatment, at any medical centre outside of their home country for critical conditions including cancer treatment, neurosurgery, coronary artery by-pass surgery, heart valve replacement and repair, plus live organ donor and tissue transplants.

The solution is available globally, with treatment, travel and accommodation covered. It is only available to corporations on a group basis, not individuals. Further organises all bookings and arrangements, meaning employees can focus on their health and recovery.

Further provides solutions for 200 multinational employers across the globe.

MAXIS GBN has added Further to its third-party suppliers in the wellness technology marketplace. The marketplace – part of MAXIS Global Wellness solution – offers multinationals a dedicated suite of digital-led health and wellness services from selected third-party suppliers which deliver global wellness solutions to multinationals and their people.

Further is a digitally enabled specialist in the design and development of niche health insurance products and service solutions, founded in 2012 and headquartered in Madrid. It has business in 30 countries through partnerships with 300 insurers and multinational employers.
