Recovery funding for health tourism in Greece

Small and medium-sized tourism enterprises in Greece will be able to tap into €1.6 billion (US$1.81 billion) in recovery funding by the end of 2021.

Small Greek health tourism businesses will get funding. €250 million (US$283 million) will be allocated to tourism businesses with plans to diversify their product. Funding will cover actions aimed at enhancing, developing or diversifying products on offer including health and wellness tourism plus thermal springs

The programme, to open at the beginning of 2022, will subsidise investments by up to 100%.
