Bermuda is allowing all countries to visit under normal visa rules; however it is allowing tourists back with very strict and regular testing rules. Although Bermuda may attract some health tourists, with these rules in place it is unlikely to receive more medical tourists.

All passengers must fill in a travel authorisation form and pay a US$75 fee in advance of arrival to cover the cost of a test at the airport on Bermuda.

The 1st PCR test must be performed no longer than 7 days before arriving in Bermuda. The negative result needs to be loaded onto the online travel authorisation form. A copy of negative results (paper or digital) must also be shown to customs upon arrival.

A 2nd PCR test is carried out at the airport upon arrival. Once the test has been performed, tourists go direct to their accommodation and quarantine until the results are ready, usually within 24 hours.

A 3rd test is taken on day 4 of the trip, a 4th test on day 8, and a 5th test on day 14, all pre-booked on arrival.

All visitors must pack a thermometer. This will be used to take temperatures of each person twice a day and the tourists must upload the temperatures onto an online portal while in Bermuda for up to 14 days.

If a traveller becomes positive during their stay, they will be quarantined for 14 days at their cost and fitted with an Aqua electronic bracelet to assist with isolation/quarantine.

Bermuda does not require a visa from the three countries that make up 90% of the visitors, USA, Canada and the UK.
