Third new hospital in Oman

Aster DM Healthcare, one of the largest private healthcare service providers operating in multiple GCC states, has opened its third hospital in Oman. The 22-bed Aster Al Raffah Hospitals & Clinics is based in Ibri. It is the group’s ninth across the region as it continues to grow its network across the Middle East, India and Southeast Asia.

‘Sultanate of Oman is top on our strategic plans,’ said Azad Moopen, founder chairman and managing director of Aster DM Healthcare. ‘We already have two hospitals at Muscat and Sohar with six clinics in Oman.’

Aster DM Healthcare currently operates 21 hospitals, 101 clinics and 207 pharmacies across nine countries.
