US$269m revenue from medical tourism to Croatia

Croatian Chamber of Commerce (HGK) Tourism Sector head Ana Klarić is quoted in Total Croatia News saying their health tourism sector annual revenue is estimated at €500m, which includes €240m in medical tourism. She expects €7.5m to be invested in the health tourism sector this year.

Ana Klarić also said that tourists visiting Croatia for spa and medical tourism stay an average of 13 days in the country and that most of them come from Germany, Slovenia, Austria and Italy. They mostly come for dental services and plastic surgery.
