Balhousie records loss ahead of refinancing

Scottish care home operator Balhousie Holdings Limited reported revenues of £37.6m for the 17 months ended 30 September 2013. The business reported turnover of £22.1m for the year ended 30 April 2012. After cost of sales of £23m (2012: 12 months £14.8m) and administrative expenses of £9.3m (2012: 12 months £4m), Balhousie achieved an operating profit of £5.2m (2012: 12 months £3.4m).
