Birmingham-based health cash plan provider BHSF has reported stable results for the year ended 31 December 2010. Earned premium income was relatively static at £34m (2009: £34.4m) and there was a slight reduction in claims costs from £24.9m to £24.1m. Net operating expenses were £7.7m versus £7.5m in 2009, and there was an increase in the balance on the technical account to £2.1m (2009: £1.8m).
