City & County buys complex care provider

City & County announced the acquisition of two businesses for undisclosed sums last month. The homecare provider bought Spirit Care Ltd, a complex care provider, and HFH Homecare, a London-based domiciliary care provider. Spirit Care was founded in 2010 by a team of health and social care professionals who specialise in delivering care for those with complex needs. The team has experience working with patients suffering from spinal injuries and neurological diseases, and are experts in performing clinical interventions associated with such conditions. HFH Homecare is run by a team with expertise in delivering a wide variety of person-centred care services. They have experience in elderly care, providing support for adults and children living with physical or learning disabilities, running extra care schemes as well as delivering live- in care packages. In joining the City & County Group, the HFH Homecare team and its service users will gain access to an array of centralised functions which will help to boost efficiency and quality, City & County said.
