Councils are ‘rationing’ social care – Nuffield Trust

Most local authorities are tightly rationing social care for the over 65s in response to budget cuts, according to research from the Nuffield Trust and Health Foundation. The study found that spending on older people’s social care has been cut 15% in real terms since 2010.
