Four times more deaths among mental health sufferers

New data released by the Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) shows that the mortality rate among people who are in contact with specialist mental health services is nearly four times (3.6) that of the general population. The data in the most recent Mental Health Bulletin refers to mental health service users aged 19 and over in England.
