Homecare problems not just due to commissioning: Suhail Mirza gets the Care Quality Commission and ADASS view on the market crisis

The provision of homecare in England is on a precipice (CCMn November 2015) with many providers blaming commissioners for not paying a fair price for care services and not allowing adequate times for visits. The Care Quality Commission (CQC) has also come under fire for increasing its fees at a time when some providers struggle to meet its fundamental standards due to a lack of funding.
