IL placements in most deprived areas

Ofsted’s first publication of experimental statistics for children in care found that those staying in independent living settings were twice as likely to live in the most deprived areas of the country as in other placements. More than half were living in areas with the highest crime levels and only 5% lived in the least deprived areas.
