Investment needed to tackle dementia

Government money must be spent to address the physical healthcare needs of care home residents with dementia, according to a report published in July from the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Dementia which claimed that a 12% reduction in the use of NHS beds by people with the condition would free up £1bn for better focused spending.
