Investor believes specialist care services are improving

s an influential parliamentary group calls for reforms in the way adults of working age are cared for, one investor has backed the progress achieved in this area over the past decade. Partner at private equity investment house Sovereign Capital, Dominic Dalli told CCMn in an exclusive interview (see the next issue of CCMn) that services for adults with disabilities or brain injuries were improving. Sovereign holds stakes in a number of specialist care providers including Choice Care Group, Tracscare and Select Living Options. Mr Dalli explained that 10 years ago some adults of working age with brain injuries would be put into care homes with elderly patients. He explained: what is happening now is the recognition that you can’t do that any more.’
