Labour pledge to end 15-minute visits

Labour leader Ed Miliband has stated that, if the party is elected back into government, it would end 15-minute homecare visits. The pledge followed a report by Baroness Denise Kingsmill – commissioned by Labour – that found two-thirds of older people received state funded domiciliary care in quarter of an hour slots.
