Mental capacity code: revisions needed

Mental health organisations have criticised industry mental capacity guidelines. They argue the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) Code of Practice needs to be revised to enable health and social care staff to make more effective best interest decisions on behalf of the estimated one million people in the UK deemed lacking in capacity to do so themselves.
