NHS revenues for major hospital providers reach a record high

New figures from LaingBuisson’s forthcoming Private Acute Medical Care 4th Edition reveal that the top five private hospitals groups operating in the mixed economy – carrying out both private and substantial NHS work – saw their combined NHS revenues increase sharply by an estimated 28% in the last two years – equivalent to a NHS revenue CAGR of 13% for 2014 and 2015. This compares to growth of 4% in private revenues during the period, and a private revenue CAGR of 2%.
