Nuffield ‘remains on path of improvement’

Charitable hospital and fitness provider, Nuffield Health, said it remains on the path of improvement’ after posting results for the year ending 31 December 2011. After a dip in group turnover in 2010 (falling £2m to £546m) Nuffield has reported an improved performance with turnover increasing to £575m and EBITDA excluding exceptional items increasing from £68m in 2010 to £72m for 2011. The Governors commented: After a net surplus of £0.1m in 2010, this year we have achieved a net surplus of £3.7m. and our ongoing investment in expanding and improving our services rose to £44m, and increase of £9m from 2010.’
