The year ended 31 March 2011 saw no expansion of Meridian Healthcare’s estate of 27 care homes but witnessed a rise in operating profit.Turnover rose by 3% to £32m (2010: £31.1m) thanks to occupancy levels in its residential and nursing homes remaining at 96%.
