Research shows soaring costs

Research linked to the Dilnot inquiry into adult social care funding has claimed that one in five people requiring residential care face bills for over £100,000, while the average cost of elderly support regardless of the environment in which it’s provided, comes in at £50,000 – significantly higher than previously thought.
