Steady growth for Colten Care

Private-pay care home operator Colten Care reported a 3.8% increase in turnover from £48.2m to £50m for the year ended 28 February 2015. After cost of sales of £31.2m (2014: £30.1m) and administrative expenses of £16.3m (2014: £14.7m) were deducted, the business made an operating profit of £2.6m, a 23% drop from the £3.3m achieved the previous year.
