Three quarters of Domiciliary care providers pass CQC test

Just under three-quarters of a sample of domiciliary care agencies inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) are meeting its standards following Winterbourne View (CCMn July 2011), according to a new review from the inspectorate. The results of the unannounced inspections commencing from April 2011 (CCMn December 2011/January 2012), show that 184 out of the 250 agencies inspected met the five standards the CQC marked against.
