Former PA Consulting leader joins Dr Foster and Arqis Health as chief executive

Former PA Consulting health analytics leader Jenny Lewis has joined Dr Foster and Arqis Health as chief executive.

Lewis, who takes up the role on 29 June, will lead the recently launched Arqis Health, which brings together Dr Foster, Four Eyes Insight and Prism Improvement to provide analytics, benchmarking and consultancy services to NHS organisations.

She has more than 20 years’ experience in healthcare analytics, beginning her career as an epidemiologist before moving into senior leadership roles focused on improving patient outcomes, healthcare quality and operational performance through the use of data.

During her time at PA Consulting, Lewis led the growth of the firm’s health analytics business, supporting NHS organisations in the UK and overseas. Her previous work includes helping to establish the information and analytics function for the national COVID-19 vaccination programme, developing the first national benchmarking product to measure quality of care at individual consultant level and leading an award-winning project on advanced theatre scheduling.

Lewis previously served as head of analytics at Dr Foster between 2011 and 2014.

Commenting on her appointment, Lewis said: ‘I am excited to bring the insight that data can provide hospitals and healthcare organisations into the boardroom. Despite all the progress that has been made in how healthcare systems use data over the past few years, it is still not right at the heart of decision-making about how patient care is delivered, and we are here to change that.’

Stephen Dorrell, chair and co-founder of Arqis Health, said: ‘Jenny brings extensive experience leading data-led transformation. Arqis, with Jenny, has a team of subject-matter experts and operationally experienced leaders, and it is uniquely placed to bring sustainable value to the NHS.’
