Staffing solutions provider TERN Group has appointed Dr Tim Rideout as managing director for health and social care.
With a career spanning 35 years, Rideout (pictured) has held senior roles in both the NHS and private healthcare sectors, including positions as chief executive of multiple NHS Trusts and leadership roles at Babylon Health and E-Med’s global clinical services.
In his new role, Rideout will lead TERN’s global health and social care business, drawing on his experience to accelerate its growth in the healthcare recruitment sector.
Commenting on his new position, Rideout said: ‘TERN offers a highly effective and ethical end-to-end approach to international recruitment. Clinical capacity is the lifeblood of any healthcare organisation, so it is an honour and a privilege to be joining TERN as it accelerates its work in supporting the recruitment and development of that clinical capacity.’
Rideout, who helped establish the NHS Commissioning Board (NHS England) and has worked on innovative recruitment and retention strategies, will support TERN’s efforts to become a trusted partner for health and social care organisations.
Avinav Nigam, chief executive of TERN Group, said: ‘We are delighted to have Dr Tim Rideout join the team. His long career working in the NHS at senior leadership levels, and as CEO of multiple Trusts, puts him in a unique position to not only bring incredible insights for the team, but also empathise with the challenges that we are working with the NHS and Social Care sector to solve. His relationships and experience in the sector are second to none.’
