Cleveland Clinic London opens outpatient centre

Cleveland Clinic London has opened its outpatient centre in the Harley Street Medical Area.

The Portland Place Outpatient Centre is set over six floors of the 28,000sqft building at 24 Portland Place. It has 17 consulting rooms and offers a range of diagnostics alongside consultations and GP appointments across a number of specialties, including heart, vascular and thoracic, ENT, neurosciences, orthopaedics, plastic surgery and rheumatology.

Cleveland Clinic London is due to open its new full-scale hospital in London’s Grosvenor Place next year. Until then, patients requiring surgery will be treated by their consultant at alternative facilities under partnership arrangements with other independent hospitals.

Cleveland Clinic London CEO Dr. Brian Donley said: ‘We are incredibly excited to start delivering our doctor-led model of care to patients for the first time in the UK. Cleveland Clinic puts patients at the centre of care, treated by a multidisciplinary team of specialists, supported by cutting-edge technology.  We will continue Cleveland Clinic’s 100 year legacy of research and education and share that knowledge with our colleagues around the globe.’
