King Edward VII’s opens fourth theatre

King Edward VII’s Hospital has opened its fourth operating theatre at its 56-bed hospital in London’s Marylebone.

The new state-of-the-art facility will accommodate day surgeries and will become home to the hospital’s Endoscopy Unit. The theatre is equipped with day case pods and recovery spaces to help minimise the time spent in hospital.

Kate Farrow, director of operations at King Edward VII’s Hospital, said: ‘King Edward VII’s Hospital is committed to providing the highest quality care in a state-of-the-art setting. The opening of our new theatre, alongside our new pods and recovery space, allows us to streamline and enhance the patient journey for the benefit of our clinicians and patients.’
