Cleveland Clinic London signs deal with WPA

Cleveland Clinic London has signed an agreement with PMI provider WPA to offer eligible plan members access to its central London medical and surgical services.

Under the deal, which focuses on heart and vascular diseases, digestive diseases, neurosciences and orthopaedics, WPA members can now be referred to Cleveland Clinic’s Portland Place Outpatient Centre in the Harley Street Medical Area. Cleveland Clinic London is scheduled to open its 184-bed hospital in Grosvenor Place early next year.

The organisations said they were working together to develop clinical pathways to guide the most appropriate care and offer seamless access to patients via direct booking and full digital access to medical records.

Cleveland Clinic London chief commercial officer Will Rowberry said: ‘Putting patients at the centre of care is a common thread between our organisations. The goal is to develop standardised care paths through evidence-based management tools to accelerate access and drive down healthcare costs.’

Brian Goodman, executive director of large corporate customers at WPA added: ‘Our discussions with the Cleveland Clinic London have been fruitful and we welcome another high-quality provider to the UK increasing competition and choice.

‘Choice is key to our customers and adding the Cleveland Clinic in London extends the options for WPA customers to see who they want, where and when they want.’
