In 2017, Hungary welcomed 2.5 million medical and wellness tourists, according to the Hungarian Statistical Office (KSH) quoted in an article on DW.com. In addition to dentistry, plastic surgery, laser eye surgery and obstetrics are also popular among foreign health tourists coming to the country.
