Hong Kong Hospital offers packaged rates for medical tourists

Parkway has opened a new 500-bed hospital in Hong Kong with 70% of the beds set aside for residents and the rest for international patients.

Gleneagles Hong Kong Hospital in Wong Chuk Hang in Hong Kong Island South is a joint venture between Parkway Pantai and NWS Holdings, with Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine of The University of Hong Kong as its clinical partner.

GHK provides a wide range of clinical services spanning more than 35 specialties and subspecialties. In addition to inpatient services, GHK’s specialist outpatient services span 16 specialties through 14 clinics, including general surgery, general medicine, orthopaedic surgery, eye surgery, Chinese Medicine and health screening

GHK is the first private hospital in Hong Kong to provide at least 51% of inpatient bed days at packaged rates. At the initial stage, 54 medical packages will be provided. All packages are fixed-price and all -inclusive in nature, covering complications required, including re-operation and ICU care, within the prescribed length of stay.
