Macau health centres reach international standards

The six health centres in the Macau have obtained international accreditation.

The six health centres in the city of Macau have obtained international accreditation from ACHS International (ACHSI), as has Conde de São Januário General Hospital.

All are owned and run by the local Health Bureau. The clinical, supporting and cooperating functions of these centres have reached international standards, following much money being spent improving facilities and services since 2012 The health centres passed all 26 requirements for the accreditation, which states a minimum of 15 requirements to be met. The accreditation needs to be up updated and is up for renewal every three years.
