New Costa Rica oncology centre targets international patients

According to the Costa Rica Star, an investment of almost US$13 million has enabled the construction of the Costa Rican Oncology Centre (Centro Oncológico Costarricense) a medical centre in San Jose.  Scheduled to open in November, it will offer the latest in treatments for cancer patients both for Costa Ricans, and foreigners seeking alternative treatments in the region at an affordable price. The Oncology Centre is one of six in the Latin American region to have a Cybernife robotic radiosurgery system.
