Continuing growth for Marie Stopes

Marie Stopes International (MSI), the charity that delivers sexual and reproductive health services through family planning centres and outreach teams internationally reported further increases in total incoming resources and net income for the year ending 31 December 2011. Total incoming resources hit £145.2m (2010: £129.9m) and the charity spent £139.9m (2010: £125.9m). This left it with a net income of £5.3m an increase on 2010’s £3.9m. MSI also owns two investments – its managed investment fund was valued at £5.7m for 2011 (2010: £5m) however, its Dublin property investment decreased in netbook value from £274,000 in 2010 to £268,000.
